Ng’eny integrated primary school has over a half a century of existence. The school stands out from the rest and has positively influenced many learners with disabilities in the country.
The teachers in the school are unique in many virtuous ways. They are specialised in different fields of dissabilities having graduated from Kenya Institute Of Special Education (KISE). They tend to go extra miles in everything that they do to help the learners wiyh special needs in educatioon. The teachers are dedicated, proud and enthusiastic; virtues that are rarely seen in many schools.
The school has made a major difference to learners with various disabilities and therefore it serves as a centre of excellence in special needs education in the country.
The quality of education is commensurate with that of the school. A complete institution of an inclussive education.Besides covering the convensional curriculum, teachers tend to turn the school into a centre of excellence in special needs in education.
The buildings and facilities especially the small home within the school, have served the school for long and are now run down, worn out, dilapidated, small, unfit ande some pose agreat danger to the pupils and the staff.
I call upon on all the stakeholders to jeolously guard the future of this school against infrastructure decay and looming collapse of the buildings.
